Radio Liberty

Posted: August 9, 2016 in Ramblings

I recently completed a new design which is now available in my Ravelry store.  It’s a crescent shawl, based on my earlier Radio Free Europe design (same stitch patterns, different shawl shape), called Radio Liberty.  You can read about the original Radio Free Europe and Radio Liberty at Wikipedia.

Made with Madelinetosh Tosh Sock in “Rhubarb” for the body and “Gilded” for the ruffle.

Takes two skeins of sock yarn, one wildly-variegated and one solid or semisolid.  Pattern is $6.

While writing this post I noticed I’d never announced Radio Free Europe (also $6), so here it is.  This one is a split-circle shawl and takes 5 skeins of sock yarn (3 wildly-variegated and 2 solid or semisolid).

Have fun knitting!

are you going to do a Brexit Design?

    • I named these after the Radio concerns because the upper part looks like static and the ruffle looks like radio waves. So, if I can come up with some Brexit-themed stitch pattern, maybe!
