Another year older and covered in dust…

Well, 2014 is almost over and there is nothing noteworthy to report.  I hope that all of you (family and friends alike) have had a productive year and that we’ll all have more success in 2015.  Certainly for me personally, it’d be hard to have less.  I sold a few skeins of yarn this year and gave away a couple of handknits. Not really “earning a living” per se.  I’m planning to work on more designs (patterns), instead of selling finished products, this coming year.  They’ll be announced here as well as on Ravelry.

Am also finally getting off my lazy arse and making notes for my book, which has been “under consideration” for many years (and has undergone many mental outline revisions).  What you’re thinking right now – that it probably will never get written – is most likely true.  But the characterization is fun.  I finally have some vague semblance of a plot, which was always the biggest stumbling block previously.  Stay tuned.

Lastly, I hope to get better at photography, which mostly means (a) learning all the ins and outs of my camera and (b) actually trying to go somewhere photo-worthy.  I’m sick of taking pics of the back yard and the cats!

Going through my blog drafts and found this from last January.  No idea what I was planning to blog about, though the Cat is always good for a quote.

I’m feeling better than nice! I’m feeling dangerous!

Okay, Cat moment over. I just got a new ba
