Second Manicure Followup

Right!  So I have strenuously left my nails alone since Monday, and everything has been fine, until this evening, when I noticed that one of them (left ring finger) was starting to peel off without any assistance from me!  Naturally I couldn’t resist fiddling with it.  It’s bare now.  I may redo it later tonight.  All the other nails look fine.  No sign of peeling.

news report on how today went

Hi, Alex again, I wanted to show you some stuff that happened today.

Episode highlights on how my day went by.

  • in the morning I got Kirby’s Epic Yarn
  • played ALL DAY from 11:00
  • finished it at  3:00
  • did easy chores
  • watched Ben 10: ultimate alien
  • watched a movie;  The Last Airbender, after I worked on this post

and that is what happened today!

The Last Rose

It’s not often I get to take these artsy pictures.  Mostly my pictures are the “stuff to sell on Ebay” or “pictures of the cats” type of thing.  But we had snow this past week, on Monday and Tuesday, and as I sat knitting on Monday morning, looking out the window, it struck me that this would make a very nice artsy picture.  Bickie was on my lap, and I didn’t want to turf her out, just to go take a picture, but eventually the snow started falling harder and it was obvious that if I didn’t get out there and take the picture now, it would be too late.  So I booted Bickie and wandered out to take it.  This was taken with the good camera, not the phone camera.  Enjoy the last rose of the season (it’s either a Duchesse de Brabant or an Andrea Stelzer, I can never remember).

The last rose of 2010.

Old Typer!

This is me, Donna, typing this, to say Happy Thanksgiving to everyone.  We can all be thankful for another year of goodness and health, as well as for the upcoming visits to Reading and England!  Whee!  I love the holiday season.
